Ok, yes, it’s probably starting to look a bit that way! I actually thought I’d make something different, like a hat. Then a spied a pattern that I just couldn’t resist!
I followed the basic format that the main picture showed, but can see how you can easily adjust it to lots of very cool patterns with bold colors! I found the pattern on Ravelry, but if you don’t have an account you can get it here. It’s worth checking out the pictures on Ravelry for a couple of reasons….great inspiration of combos and colors for this pattern, but also because of the diagrams. I prefer to follow a diagram, so it was great that they had gone to the effort of producing one.
I went for a border that was also a bit geometrical.
Round 1: Starting in a corner, 3 sc, sc around, with 3 in each of the other 3 corners.
Round 2: Ch 3, *3 dc into base sc of previous row, skip 3 sc, slst in next SC, ch 2* Rep * to * around.
