I have been happily crocheting a new granny square blanket based on a pattern scribbled on a piece of paper. I thought that in preparation for my post about the pattern I’d better do it property with a Crochet Font that I have created.
Normally this isn’t a big deal, but this pattern is slightly complex, and so I’m not sure whether I’ve done it in a way that other’s will be able to follow. I also haven’t actually written down the pattern (yip, too lazy!). To this end, I thought to myself “why don’t I ask if any of the lovely people who read my blog could see if they can understand it before I post it?”.
So, here is my post asking for a volunteer or two to see if they can re-create the granny square using the diagram I’ve drawn. You an see from the picture that I am using cotton. I’m not sure if the pattern will show up the same in wool, but I doubt that would be an issue.
If you have some spare time and are keen to give it a go, please contact me and I’ll email you the pattern. Please enter your email in a comment on this post and I’ll email you the pattern. I won’t publish the comment so you’re contact details will remain confidential.
I will also try to get motivated to write out the actual pattern soon too……
